SportsHelpers is a web-based volunteer management software that automates your youth sports league’s parent volunteer program – from sign up, tracking, communication and comprehensive management of volunteer activities and family information.
The SportsHelpers system automates and simplifies the service hours process, making it easy for parents to help our organization. There is no fee for parents to use this system.
Each family will have their own unique password-protected website, aka ‘Parent portal’. From within your own portal, you will be able to:
- Easily view and sign up for available service hours tasks such as the Snack Shack, special events, etc
- Automatically track tasks and associated hours you have signed up for.
- Know your real-time service hours total, any time.
- Receive/send messages from and to the Service Hours team regarding related matters, all from within your own Parent portal.

BLUE CREW SCHEDULER
The Blue Crew Scheduler or BCS is the web-based tool used by PHBA’s umpires (the Blue Crew) for scheduling their games during the course of the season.
This game scheduling tool is made available to every member of the Blue Crew when they successfully complete umpire training as well as the other mandated requirements (BC, HU, CAP, SCA).
The BCS allows each umpire to set up their own account and password. Once the account is established, BCS access provides the user the following:
- Associate the umpire to the team or teams they represent (Profile)
- Displays open games available for pick up based on the umpire’s assigned umpire proficiency LEVEL (All Games & Daily Summary Page)
- Ability to select games based on their proficiency LEVEL, personal availability, and their child’s game schedule
- Displays all user’s upcoming games (My Games)
- Pre-notification of user’s upcoming games
- Notification of open games needing umpire support
- Tracks umpire’s progression towards completion of their team’s umpire coverage requirement and their LSH commitment (My Statistics)
- Tracks umpire’s progression towards ULT awards and recognition (My Statistics and Umpire Statistics)
- Displays the umpire’s game coverage details (Umpire Statistics - baseball, softball, division, position, game count)
