PHBA will be hosting two FREE softball pitching clinics for all players who will be playing in our softball leagues in the upcoming 2023 spring season.

To participate, your child must have played last year in PHBA or be registered for the upcoming 2023 spring season. If you have not yet registered your player for the 2023 season, please do so ASAP. Spring ball registration information can be found on PHBA.org.

These are softball pitching clinics. Any interested parents are also invited on the field to get the instruction so that they can work with their player on their own.

These are free clinics, but we are asking for a donation of a can of food which we will donate to the Contra Costa Food Bank.

WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR COACHES TO HELP WITH THIS. To do so, you must be an approved coach from last season. Please reach out to Rod (contact info below) if you would like to participate.

INTRODUCTION TO SOFTBALL PITCHING 

When: Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022

From: 10:00am – 11:15am

Where: Pleasant Oaks Park Field ONE

Who: All players who will be playing in our Instructional, Pioneer, and American SOFTBALL leagues in 2023 (MUST HAVE PLAYED IN PHBA LAST YEAR OR BE REGISTERED FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON).

ADVANCED SOFTBALL PITICHING 

When: Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022

From: 5:30pm – 6:30pm

Where: Pleasant Oaks Park Field FIVE

Who: All players who will be playing in our National and Western SOFTBALL leagues in 2023 (MUST HAVE PLAYED IN PHBA LAST YEAR OR BE REGISTERED FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON).

Please have your player there a few minutes early and ready for a full workout. Players should be dressed for a workout: baseball pants (or jeans), cleats, etc., and have all their gear (helmet, bat, mitt, water, etc.).

No preregistration is required. Your player can just show up. A parent or guardian should stay for the whole clinic in case their child needs them.
