PHBA Umpire Overview for Coaches: Saturday, January 17, 9–11am

For: Coaches NEW to PHBA or NEW to Pioneer through Western divisions plus all other coaches

The above clinic is for ALL managers/coaches NEW to PHBA or NEW to Pioneer through Western divisions. It is intended to give managers and coaches a better understanding of what it takes to be an umpire at PHBA as well as their responsibility meeting their team’s requirement for umpire coverage. It also covers ULT organization and administration, how the team trains our umpires, our expectations of the parent volunteer as an umpire, and a Q&A session on an rules questions.

While NOT mandatory, managers/coaches are encouraged to attend to better understand umpiring and how PHBA’s volunteer Blue Crew do the job we train them for. This clinic is open to any other manager/coach who has not attended past clinics.
