We are having tryouts for the PHBA Travel Fall Baseball teams on August 19th and 26th. These teams will compete in three tournaments during the 10 week season starting after Labor Day. Practices will likely be 1-2 nights per week through the middle of November.
The Fall Ball program is designed to be both developmental and competitive with an emphasis on skill refinement and a heavy focus on strength and conditioning. Tryouts are open to all PHBA boys players (both in house and Hawks players). Rosters sizes are expected to be in the 12-15 player range as the program is set up in a manner to allow kids to play other fall sports.
The goal is to have single age division teams for the 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U ages. The team your child should tryout for is determined by your son's age on April 30th, 2019. For instance, if your son will be 11 on April 30, 2019, then he will play in the 11U division in Fall.
You must register your player for tryouts by following this link. Register All players wishing to tryout must register prior to August 10th.
Tryout schedule is as follows. Show up 30 minutes early to sign in and warm up. All tryouts will be held at Pleasant Hill Middle School fields near the tennis courts.

Cost includes three tourney registration fees, PH Park & Rec fee, field equipment and jersey and hat. It does not include tournament fees if a team chooses to participate in any additional tournaments.
It's always a good time to improve your Speed & Conditioning!
Please see below for a couple off-season workout camps that Steve Hammond is hosting at the Pleasant Hill Middle School fields in August. These camps are a great off-season speed and conditioning program that will be very beneficial to your child’s athletic development. The programs are intended for all athletes at all ability levels. They will cover fundamentals of running form, accelerating, stopping, lateral agility, jumping, and landing - all in a very fun and competitive way. Alternating between specific drills that focus on one of these areas with races or games that use the skills practiced.
