The league was established in 1958 as an organization formed to provide a program for the youth of the Pleasant Hill area in cooperation with the Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District, the Mt. Diablo Unified School District and Diablo Valley College. The Recreation District provides the playing fields. Financing is secured through the sponsorship of the teams by business firms in the area and registration fees for each boy and girl.

Summer and Fall
Pleasant Hill Baseball Association would like to congratulate three PHBA alumni for their continued success in the game of baseball. Trevor Larnach, William MacIver, and Joe Demers were at one time teammates on the PHBA Condors (now Hawks), won the California State Championship game as College Park High School seniors, recruited to play in College, and now drafted by Major League Baseball. PHBA is honored to be a part of their journey to the Major Leagues and wish them all continued success.
